Three separate accidents injure at least five, one seriously

WINDER - Two people were seriously injured Tuesday night in a one-car crash in Barrow County.<br>

According to spokesman for the State Patrol, the accident happened just after 10 p.m. when a car went out of control on Georgia Highway 81 and overturned, ejecting the driver and a passenger.<br>
<br>
The driver is identified Jesus Garcia, 26, of Winder. The passenger Adrian Maxines, 18, also of Winder. <br>
<br>
Both were taken to Athens Regional Hospital. Their injuries are believed to be serious, but so far, no other information has been released.<br>
<br>
Also Tuesday night, troopers from the State Patrol in Athens worked an injury accident in Madison County Tuesday night. <br>
<br>
At least one person was injured when they went through the windshield of their vehicle on Sun Ray Hatchery Road. They were transported to Banks-Jackson Commercen Hospital in serious condition. <br>
<br>
No other details are available at this time.<br>

On Monday, one person was seriously injured in a two car accident in Jackson County near Waterworks and Hood's Mill Roads. <br>
<br>
Tina Marie Wood of Hull was injured when she failed to yield at a stop sign and crashed into a car driven by Kay Caputi. Wood was taken to Banks-Jackson Commerce. <br>
<br>
Two passengers and Caputi reported minor injuries. Wood faces charges for failure to yield and possible DUI, pending tests results.
