ELBERTON - Officials in Elbert County are considering stricter regulations on poultry houses.
The county commission is looking at new regulations for poultry farming developments.
Several people have complained about the recent construction of a poultry house in a residential area.
The proposed rules would require a poultry house to be at least 400 feet from someone else's home.
Many farmers oppose the change.
