NEW YORK - Chicago's Anthony Thomas is the Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. <br>

The ``A-Train'' went from a non-starter to the Bears' featured back and wound up setting a team rookie rushing record. He ran for 1,186 yards despite missing two games with injuries. Thomas helped the Bears roll to a 13-3 mark and the team's first NFC Central title since 1990. <br>

Thomas earned 20 votes in the balloting. San Diego running back LaDanian Tomlinson finished a close second with 16. <br>

Tomlinson rolled up 1,236 yards rushing and scored ten touchdowns for the Chargers.
