Construction worker hospitalized with electrical burns

SMYRNA - A 42-year-old construction worker sustained serious electrical burns after a truck boom lifting pipe hit a power line near Cumberland Mall. <br> <br> The accident happened about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday when a drilling company was laying fiber optic cable along Cobb Parkway.<br> <br> The worker was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital burn unit in serious condition. <br> <br> The worker&#39;s name was not released. <br> <br> The accident knocked out traffic signals for 45 minutes along southbound Cobb Parkway.
