JACKSONVILLE, ALABAMA - Omar Barlett scored 22 points and guard Poonie Richardson scored 20 to lead Jacksonville State to an 81-75 victory over Georgia State Thursday night. <br>

The Panthers (9-7) saw an 18-point first half lead evaporate as Jacksonville State (4-8) roared back into the game. <br>

Georgia State, playing without injured guard Darryl Cooper, went with a bigger lineup and it appeared to work early. Bam Campbell, starting in place, responded with 11 of the first 17 points of the game as Georgia State opened a 17-6 lead in the first seven and a half minutes and led 41-31 at the half. <br>

In the second half, the Gamecocks went on a 17-4 rally to finally capture the lead at 56-55 with 11:21 to go. The teams were tied at 71 with 2:18 to play. A Jay Heard three-pointer at 1:53 gave JSU the lead for good. <br>

Nate Williams scored 23 points, 19 in the second half to lead Georgia State. ampbell finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Thomas Terrell added 15 points and nine rebounds.
