Georgia man dies at basketball practice

FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA - A student preparing to play his first basketball game for Fayetteville State University in North Carolina has died after becoming ill at practice. <br> <br> Trey Arnold of Atlanta died Wednesday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville from what school officials say was a brain aneurysm. <br> <br> Arnold became academically eligible to play and entered the Division Two school two weeks ago. Fayetteville State was to play Shaw University Thursday night. <br> <br> Teammate and roommate Kenny Haywood says Arnold complained of a headache Monday morning and was still suffering from it when he went to practice that afternoon. <br> <br> Arnold began vomiting as the team gathered for warmups. Athletics director Bill Carver says the team&#39;s trainer had Arnold lie down. He became unresponsive and the trainer called for emergency medical attention.
