A little flash in the pan
Auraria is a little town in Lumpkin County, but unlike the bustling Dahlonega, it's completely abandoned. It's a ghost town, with only a handful of buildings left.

Agnes is my homegirl
The legend is a girl named Agnes, a fiesty freshman back in the 1920's hung herself on the diving board of the pool underneath Pearce's stage after some traumatic event. These events range from spurned lover, or a ashamed she was pregnant and her lover abandoned her, spurned ballerina or actress, blackballed from a sorority, and then a seperate story that the young woman, a member of a secret society, was killed by members of another secret society.

And, they began right here, in Cleveland, and they're still being born at Babyland General Hospital.

A peek at Poultry Park
High in the sky, the little metal rooster proudly stands to welcome you to the Queen City. He lives in Poultry Park, so named for Gainesville's highly successful poultry industry. He is also a very amusing monument to drive by.
