Many places I go to visit are run by people who care. They are run by people who volunteer to put their blood, sweat and tears in, by people who dedicate their weekends and elbow grease to make something wonderful.

Sitting quietly off West Main Street, the former cinema was revived in the 1990's to become a community theater.

Book Review: Vanishing Landmarks of Georgia
The book is called Vanishing Landmarks of Georgia and it's kind of a guide book for curious cats (like myself) who want to see and learn about covered bridges and grist mills in the state.

The man behind the chainsaw is local artist John Robinson. Robinson owns Blue Ridge Bear Sculptures out of Cleveland.

SculpTour de Suwanee
The collection on display now is not the first - the SculpTour, as it's called, began in 2011 and is on it's fourth tour. Originally, the tours lasted one year but in 2013 the tours were bumped up to two years.

Foxfire still glows, 50 years later
