I ended up in the emergency room on November 22. It was pretty scary. Thankfully, in the non-Covid part of the ER no one was there and they took me right back.

I tend to look at the sunny side of life. My friends say I am always “half-full.”

I took a week off and as usual, it clears my head, I read and spent time with family. I was supposed to be in the UK for about 10 days but alas, Covid-19 hit and I would have spent all my time in quarantine IF I could have gotten a flight. Delta took care of that in cancelling my flight. Oh well, I think there is always next year.

Herman Cain was a dear friend of mine. He gave more than he got and he was there for me in some of the best and worst times of my life.

On July 17, 2020, Civil Rights icons C. T. Vivian and John Lewis died on the same day.
