Debts and deficits
Candidates, including me back in the day, used to run on balancing the budget in 10 years.

Political seasons
We are in a political season. There’s no doubt about that. And in the age of social media, you think you have to have an opinion on everything.

How to get along
I know I have strong opinions, but I like to think of myself as the “Velvet Hammer.” I ask the tough questions, I consider the tough opinions but I do it in a nice way.

Focusing on what is important
Sen. Kelly Loeffler went on air with her first ad and talked about the waste of time on impeachment and I have to agree with her.

The level of discourse

Budgets, deficits and debt, oh my!
Whenever anyone talks about cutting or controlling budgets, the naysayers conjure up an image of soup lines and desperation. I’m more in the paraphrased Lee Iacocca club of, “You can cut 5% out of anything and not hurt operations.”
