Gladiators take point in wild shootout
On Fan Appreciation Night at home, the Gwinnett Gladiators gave the fans quite the show in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Greenville Road Warriors Saturday night.

Huntingdon sweeps DH from Piedmont softball
In a pair of close contests, the Lady Lions fell just short as the Huntingdon Hawks took both games of the doubleheader Saturday with a 5-3 victory in game one and a 4-2 win in the second game. The twinbill marked the final two home contests of the 2015 season for Piedmont College as they finished the season 8-6 at Walker Athletic Complex.

Baseball: Wolves rally past North Hall in extra innings (VIDEO)
North Hall got the timely hitting, turned two double plays on defense, and got seven innings from starter Josh Hammond. It was everything coach Trent Mongero said the Trojans needed to have a chance to knock off No. 1 Buford Wednesday at McQuaig Field. It still wasn’t enough.
