Golf: Franklin girls win AAA state title; GHS fifth
On a course many bystanders considered to be one of the toughest, if not THE toughest, to ever host the Class AAA girls golf championships, Franklin County was able to navigate around the 5,500-yard, Par 71 Chestatee Golf Club in a surprisingly low 157 Monday to win the state title.
