HIAWASSEE - An Ohio man is in the Towns County Detention Center facing rape charges.
Towns County Sheriff's Office investigators said they had been searching for 34-year-old Paul Jason Brothers of Waynesville, Ohio ever since they learned of the alleged incident in March. They said the reported assault actually occurred in October of 2012 at residence in Towns County.
Brothers was located in Warren County, Ohio, and investigators secured a warrant for his arrested. They said Brothers waived extradition and was returned to Towns County to face the charges on August 10.
Authorities released no other details on the case.
