DAWSONVILLE - The driver of a pick-up truck involved in an accident with a tour bus Wednesday morning on Georgia 400 has died.
Dawson County Coroner Ted Bearden identified the victim as Meabon Sanner of Waldrip Drive in Forsyth County.
Sheriff's authorities said Sanner pulled across the highway and into the path of a tour bus carrying Dahlonega Southern Gospel group Karen Peck and New River. The bus was traveling northbound on 400 just north of Dawson Forest Boulevard when the accident happened.
Bearden said Sanner died around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday from injuries sustained in the accident.
No one on the bus was seriously injured.
