PEACHTREE CITY - A flash flood watch and high wind watch have been posted for Thursday for Gainesville and most of north and central Georgia as everybody waits to see what Ivan is going to do.
It sounds like last week all over again when the remnants of Frances roared through: minor flooding and lots of downed trees and powerlines.
The high wind watch calls for sustained winds of 30-40 mph and some gusts to 50 mph.
The flash flood watch warns of the possibility of 3-6 inches of rain across north and central Georgia.
