Three state high school art winners from NE Georgia

GAINESVILLE - Three northeast Georgians are among the winners in the 2004 All-State Festival of Art & Design which was held recently at Brenau University.

There were 18 winners, in all, and they include Lacey Ferguson of Statham, who is a student at Barrow County High School and Thomas Scott of Sugar Hill and Darilyn Chu of Suwanee, both students at North Gwinnett high.

The festival, which was held at Brenau University, is an art competition for Georgia high school students, which includes workshops, events, talks by renowned artists and advice on college art scholarships.
