Braves farm out Carlyle, keep Bennett for final spot in bullpen
The Braves finalized their 25-man roster on Saturday, optioning pitcher Buddy Carlyle to Triple-A Richmond and handing Jeff Bennett the final spot in the bullpen. The Braves will go into Sunday's season opener at Washington with a 12-man pitching staff that includes starters Tim Hudson, Tom Glavine, Jair Jurrjens and Mike Hampton.
