Mercer gives Auburn a scare in loss
Rasheem Barrett had 18 points to lead Auburn past Mercer 68-59 Wednesday night. Auburn pulled off the victory despite a shorthanded bench with freshman center Boubacar Sylla out with an ankle injury and sophomore forward Lucas Hargrove out with a broken hand.

Jackets put up fight but fall to Kansas
ATLANTA -- Russell Robinson, more accustomed to setting up other scorers, took his turn on the Kansas high-scorer carousel against Georgia Tech. Robinson scored 17 points, becoming the Jayhawks' seventh different leading scorer in 11 games, and No. 3 Kansas survived a last-minute scare to remain unbeaten with a 71-66 victory over the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday night.

Georgia Tech's Dickey to miss season due to injury
ATLANTA -- Georgia Tech senior center Ra'Sean Dickey, who has missed the first eight games of the season with an injury, will sit out the rest of the season as a redshirt. Dickey will retain his final year of eligibility for the 2008-09 season. He has acute tendinitis in his right knee.
