After redshirt in 2007, UGA's King ready to make most of '08
ATHENS -- Caleb King spent the 2007 watching Knowshon Moreno prove the value of a productive redshirt year. Now it's King's chance. After sitting out the 2007 season as a redshirt, King is working in spring practice as the top backup to Moreno on Georgia's depth chart at tailback.

UGA's two-time NCAA gymnastics champ Kupets out for season
ATHENS -- Two-time NCAA all-around gymnastics champion Courtney Kupets won't get a chance to win a third straight title. The Georgia star and 2004 Olympic medalist is out for the rest of the season after surgery Monday to repair a torn right Achilles tendon.

North Carolina is back on top of the weekly Associated Press men's college basketball poll. The Tar Heels, who were on top of the pre-season poll and then hung on for ten weeks, replace Tennessee. The Heels, who are 27-and-2, jump up from the number-three spot in last week's poll.
