The Piedmont College women's lacrosse team picked up its third straight win to open the 2015 season earlier Saturday knocking off visiting Hanover College 20-0 at Walker Athletic Complex.

Rod Hall scored five of his 15 points in overtime to lead Clemson to a 70-63 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday after the Tigers had blown all of a 23-point lead.

The No. 12 North Georgia softball team collected a pair of non-conference wins on Saturday afternoon at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium, downing Brevard and Pfeiffer. The wins are the sixth straight for the Nighthawks as they improve to 13-3 overall.
