Piedmont cycling wins team sprint, impresses at SECCC Track Cup in Atlanta

Glendon Named PBC Defender of the Week
University of North Georgia senior Kevin Glendon was named the Peach Belt Conference Defender of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. Glendon won the first honor of the year after scoring the game-winning goal against No. 5 Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday.

Lady Lion soccer loses close call to No. 5 Centre, 1-0
The Lady Lion soccer team wrapped up the opening weekend of tournament play, facing tournament host No. 5 Centre College in a 1-0 loss to the Colonels. Centre scored the lone goal of the contest in the 50th minute, securing the shutout victory and moving to 3-0 overall.
