Hall County Elections

The Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO) has released a report highlighting the growing Latino electorate in Georgia.

While voters in Gwinnett County and elsewhere in metro Atlanta are waiting for hours to cast their ballots, voters aren't spending much time in the Hall County Elections Office.

Hall County Republications billed their rally Monday afternoon as an "American Freedom Rally" at the Civic Center to get out the vote for John McCain and Sarah Palin.

It was a mad dash to the Hall County Elections office on the last day of early voting.

Unprecedented numbers of early voters in Florida and other southern states are prompting election officials to add equipment, extend schedules and hand out water and chairs to make people comfortable as they wait for hours to cast their ballots.

The head of elections and voter registration in Hall County issued a reminder Monday about the two local questions that are on this year's Nov. 4 General Election ballot.
