Inpection Notes

Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(4)(n)1] Observed food handler wearing single service gloves pull raw hamburger patties from plastic container and place on grill then later proceed to handle buns, cheese, and other hamburger condiments using the same pair of gloves or touch their face with gloved hands while handling/assembling burgers. If used, single service gloves must be used for only one task such as working with raw animal food OR ready-to-eat food, used for no other purpose, and discarded when soiled, damaged, or when interruptions occur in the operation. COS- Food handler discarded food/contaminated gloves, washed hands, and donned clean gloves to assemble ready-to-eat foods. If location of existing hand sink is not conducive for employees at grill top to switch gloves and wash frequently, then have options to: 1. Install easily accessible hand sink for grill employee use. 2) Use tongs, spatulas, single-service wax paper, or other utensil for placing raw animal food on grill top where method prevents single service gloves and ready-to-eat food surfaces from contamination, 3.) Have an additional food employee at grill station so that one employee is designated to handle raw food only while the other employee handles ready-to-eat food only. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 15C Accumulated grease, food debris, and residues on interiors/exteriors of equipment including: can rack, front shelving, kitchen racks, coolers, power strips, electrical cords, fan guards, vent covers, table legs, and casters. Clean non-food contact surfaces frequently and thoroughly enough to prevent accumulations or buildup. New Violation.
