12B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.03(5)(g)] Several employees wearing loose fitting bracelets while prepping food. Except for a plain ring such as a wedding band, food employees may not wear jewelry on their arms and hands while prepping food. COS: Informed PIC of appropriate jewelry that can be worn while prepping food and bracelets were removed. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 15B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(6)(d),(e)] Corners and drain area of vegetable sink contained buildup of dirt/mold. The components of sinks and basins used for washing and rinsing raw foods must be cleaned at a frequency necessary to prevent recontamination. New Violation. 15B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(3)(h),(i)] No chlorine test strips available for measuring concentration of bleach solution used on cutting boards overnight. Per PIC, a corporate employee recently instructed establishment to begin sanitizing cutting boards in bleach overnight. However a test kit/strip must be available to accurately measure the concentration of sanitizing solutions. COS: CFSM stated that she will soak the cutting boards in quat sanitizer, which she does have test strips available, until she gets a chlorine sanitizing test kit. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
