Violation of Code: [511-6-1.03(6)] Observed there to be no chemical in the food establishment to be effective against Norovirus. Responding To Contamination Events. A food establishment shall have procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve the discharge of vomitus or fecal matter onto surfaces in the food service establishment. The procedures shall address the specific actions employees must take to minimize the spread of contamination and the exposure of employees, consumers, food, and surfaces to vomitus or fecal matter. Note: PIC stated they will go and purchase a chemical effective against Norovirus at the COB. New Violation. 15C Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(7)(d)] Observed the caulking on the 3-compartment sink to have an accumulation of mold-like substance. Observed gaskets to several reach-in coolers to have a build-up of food debris. Nonfood-Contact Surfaces. Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues. Note: PIC will have 3-compartment sink cleaned and re-caulked. PIC will also have all gaskets to reach-in coolers cleaned, so that they may be free of any debris. New Violation.
