GBI probing fatal shooting by police in Savannah
A handcuffed man was shot and killed by police Thursday in west Savannah, authorities said, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into it.

Ga.'s unemployment rate up again; rate is 8.1% for August
The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday morning that the state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for August was 8.1 percent, up four-tenths of a percentage point from a revised 7.7 percent in July. The rate in August of last year was 8.2 percent.
