Hand-written tickets a thing of the past in Suwanee
Along with 2007, the Suwanee Police Department is saying goodbye to hand-written traffic citations. The department recently upgraded its computer software and earlier this month began issuing electronically generated tickets.

Consumer Spending Surges in November
Consumers put aside worries about slumping home sales and soaring gasoline prices and headed to the malls in November, pushing spending up by the largest amount in 3 1/2 years. The better-than-expected surge lessened fears of an imminent recession.
