Gainesville Parks and Recreation receives top award from state group
The Gainesville Parks and Recreation Department was named Agency of the Year by the Georgia Recreation and Park Association at its Annual Conference in Athens Wednesday night. In addition, a local veterans group and a longtime parks and recreation department employee were recognized.
