DECATUR -- The East Hall boys soccer team gave No. 4 Druid Hills all it could handle Thursday night in the first round of the Class AAA soccer tournament. But Druid Hills scored in the final 10 minutes of the game to pull out a 2-1 win over the Vikings.

Baseball: Elephants' Bennett dominates Vikings (4/23)
Zach Bennett continued his mastery of Region 7-AAA tossing a complete-game, three-hitter in leading Gainesville to a 10-1 win over East Hall Wednesday. Bennett struck out 10 and walked just one allowing just one hit after back-to-back doubles in the first inning.

Tech AD: No sign of drug use by Hutts

Hampton a little timid in latest comeback
Mike Hampton is still a bit timid about his long-delayed comeback. The Braves left-hander, who hasn't pitched in the majors since 2005, had another stint in the bullpen prior to Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Hampton threw about 50 pitches, with no pain in the pectoral muscle that sent him to the disabled list.
