North Hall swept a pair of matches Thursday against Chestatee and Athens Christian in girls volleyball action.

Buford got its measure of revenge against Dawson County Wednesday in the semifinals of the Region 7-AAA softball tournament.

Dawson County and Buford already have qualified for the Class AAA state softball tournament. The two highly-ranked teams will have to wait to see who will join them in Region 7-AAA when the region tournament resumes Wednesday at East Hall Park.
