Gilmer County authorities searching for missing teenager

The Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office has asked the public for assistance in locating a missing teen girl last seen on Thursday, Apr. 18. 

A Facebook post from the agency said Alyssa Seamon, 15 was last seen at 11 p.m. at her home on Craigtown Road.

Seamon is described as a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with blue eyes, and blonde hair. She has a light scar on her forehead with nose and eyebrow piercings.

Seamon was last seen wearing a red shirt and sweatpants.

Authorities said she is believed to be accompanied by an unknown individual.
