A woman from Alto was killed in a pedestrian accident Wednesday afternoon in Habersham County.
According to a press release from the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened just after 6 p.m. on the exit ramp from Georgia 365 northbound onto Level Grove Road.
Crystal Ann Thomas, 37, was reportedly walking south on the exit ramp when she ran into traffic as a northbound vehicle entered the ramp.
Thomas was struck by the vehicle and died as a result.
No other details were released.
