Gwinnett murder suspects arrested in Illinois

Two men who are suspected of murdering a man in Gwinnett County Sunday have been arrested in Illinois.

In a release, Gwinnett County Police officials said they identified Keonte Anderson, age 29 of Peachtree Corners, and Jonas Albright-Gillis, age 28 of Doraville, as the suspects in the April 23 shooting that Marcus Bush dead at a Shell Gas Station in Norcross.

Police say they identified the vehicle driven from the scene as an Audi SUV and learned that it had traveled to Illinois. Authorities in Calumet City, Illinois were notified and later found and arrested Anderson and Albright-Gillis during a traffic stop.

The two are currently being held in the Cook County, Illinois Detention Center awaiting extradition to Gwinnett County. Both are facing charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

In an earlier release, Gwinnett police said they believed the shooting was an isolated incident that began with a verbal altercation between the two men and Bush.
