Employees recognized for exemplary service at White County luncheon

The White County Government highlighted employee dedication through presentation of service awards at a luncheon on December 12.

Hosted at Truett McConnell University, the event spotlighted individuals who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to public service. Alongside awards, door prizes were also distributed.  

The following two individuals will be retiring in the upcoming weeks and were recognized by the White County Board of Commissioners:

  • Michelle Brookshire, served as Administrative Assistant for the Board of Commissioners Office for the last 10 years. 

  • Harry Barton, who for the past 42 years served as White County’s Planning Director.
