By Christian Ashliman Anchor/Reporter

The Gwinnett County Police Department Monday said they are searching for a missing Lawrenceville woman who was last seen by her family on Sept. 25.

Detryauna S. Hemphill, 26, of Lawrenceville, was last seen by her family on Sept. 25, when she was leaving her residence on Villa Ridge Parkway in unincorporated Lawrenceville, according to Gwinnett authorities.

At that time, Hemphill told her family she was going to visit some friends.

Police are now asking the public for help in locating Hemphill, who was officially reported missing by her family on Oct. 5.

Hemphill is described by authorities as a black female standing five feet ten inches tall, and weighing approximately 300 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans with a blue and white top.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
