Election officials preparing for Saturday voting

By Ken Stanford Contributing Editor

Election officials in Georgia are preparing for this weekend's Saturday voting which, in Hall County, will take place at four locations.

Polls in the county will open Saturday at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. at the North Hall Community Center, East Hall Community Center, Spout Springs Library and the Hall County Government Center.

Saturday voting is part of Georgia's three-week early voting period and is mandated by the state.  That means Saturday voting will also be conducted in every other county in Georgia.   To find out the times and places in your county, check with your county elections office.

The final week of early voting for the March 24 presidential primaries, which also includes E-SPLOST and school bond referendums in Gainesville and Hall County, will begin on Monday.
