Flowery Branch man arrested for stabbing, injuring man

A Flowery Branch man is facing charges for allegedly stabbing and seriously injuring another man Saturday in South Hall County.

Gordy Ronald Orr, 54, is accused of pulling a knife on the victim, who has only been identified as an adult male, and stabbing him in the abdomen, said Lt. Scott Ware with the Hall County Sheriff's Office in a statement.

It happened at a home on Deaton Henry Road, where investigators took Orr into custody on charges of aggravated assault, a felony, and disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

A $1,300 bond has been set for the disorderly conduct charge, but as of Monday morning, no bond had been set for the aggravated assault charge.

Orr was booked into the Hall County Jail.
