The Friends of the Hall County Library will hold a used book sale this Saturday and Sunday at the main branch in Gainesville.
Hours for the sale will be 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 and 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4. Organizers say Sunday’s sale will be an all-day fire sale, with items sold for just $5 per bag. Donations are currently being accepted at all Hall County Library branches.
The Friends will partner once again with the Gainesville High School Navy JROTC, who will work during the sale to assist customers with purchases.
Proceeds from the Friends’ annual book sale support library activities such as the Summer Reading Program. Friends of the Library fundraising also supports initiatives not funded by the library’s regular budget such as staff training and equipment purchases.
