The Friends of the Hall County Library will hold their huge annual used book sale the weekend of September 16-17 at the Gainesville Library. Donations are currently being accepted at all library branches.
This year, the group is partnering with the Gainesville High School Navy JROTC, who will be working the weekend of the sale to assist customers with their purchases.
Proceeds from the book sale support library activities such as the Summer Reading Program. Friends of the Library fundraising also supports initiatives not funded by the library’s regular budget such as staff training and equipment purchases. This year, Friends purchased new printing equipment, cameras, and library flooring.
