The final week of the regular season is finally upon us and many of the northeast Georgia regions feature several key matchups to either secure playoff berths, seedings, or both for the week of Jan. 29 to Feb 3.
There are still some races for top seeding where most regions give automatic berths into the state tournament. Regions 8-AA, 7-AAA, 8-AAAA, Region 8-AAAAAA all still have races for the top seed and all have crucial showdowns this week.
Below is the schedule for the final week of the basketball season. Region tournaments are set to begin next week around the area.
