Seventh-ranked Georgia won its ninth straight Southeastern Conference game, posting a 6-3 win over LSU Friday in front of 2,243 at Alex Box Stadium, and Bulldog closer Joshua Fields set the school record with his 34th career save.

Two days after getting a walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to beat North Hall, the Elephants rallied for six runs in the final two innings to beat Lumpkin County 6-5 Wednesday in a key Region 7-AAA game for both teams.
