Mutts on Main returns to Gainesville Saturday

Mutts on Main, an event to promote and raise funds for the Hall County Animal Shelter, will be held Saturday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the downtown Gainesville Square.
The event will include a Mutt Strut (a parade of adoptable dogs) at 11 a.m., dog training at noon and a Pet Costume Contest at 1 p.m., featuring a Best Dressed, Best Trick and Look-Alike winner.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to visit with a number of vendors selling pet-themed product and services, including pet boarding, custom pet furniture, pet portraits, clothing and collars and more.  Microchipping will also be available for $20, and live music is set to begin at 2 p.m..
