DAHLONEGA - The Lumpkin County Animal Shelter is reducing adoption fees between now and January 9.
This is in conjuction with Friends of Lumpkin County Shelter Animals and its 3rd Annual Home 4 the Holidays promotion.
All adoption fees will be reduced to $40 for dogs and $20 for cats. The Friends group will pay the balance of $50 for dog adoptions and $40 toward cat adoptions. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, micrcochipping, 30 days of free pet insurance, health screenings and deworming as well as appropriate vaccinations.
