Gainesville High School will hold graduation Friday at 7:30 p.m. at City Park Stadium and, as a result, a some street closing and other traffic interruptions in the area are planned.
Longstreet Circle will be closed from Riverside Drive to Longstreet Place to allow special guest parking and bus shuttle drop-off/pickup. Beginning at 5:00 p.m., Green Street traffic will be stopped periodically to allow guests to cross the street.
Guest parking for the event will be available at designated areas. The shuttles to the stadium will be located at First Baptist Church and Lakewood Baptist Church.
Meanwhile, city school officials say Woods Mill High School seniors will graduate Thursday at 6:00. That ceremony will be held in the Gainesville High Performing Arts Center.
Graduation ceremonies in the Hall County School System will be held beginning Thursday and continuing through Saturday.
