HOSCHTON -- North Gwinnett made the most of four Mill Creek turnovers on Friday, scoring 28 points off the giveaways to help pull out a 47-28 win in Hoschton.

The eighth-ranked Bulldogs (5-1, 3-1 Region 7-AAAAAA) pulled ahead for good in the second quarter and saw off a third quarter charge from the Hawks, who pulled within 30-28.

North Gwinnett's defense came up with a huge interception with just over six minutes to play, snagging a screen pass and returning it for a score to pull ahead 40-28.

The Hawks (4-3, 3-2) will look to bounce back next week at Duluth.
