Greensboro knocks off Lions 4-1 in USA South men's soccer
The Pride of Greensboro College handed the Piedmont College men's soccer team a 4-1 loss on Saturday afternoon. Piedmont could not overcome an early goal by Greensboro on the road dropping the conference contest to the Pride who currently sit atop the conference table with 25 points through nine games.

'Que' to assume title of Uga X mascot at Georgia Southern game
Uga IX, affectionately known as “Russ,” is officially retiring as Georgia's bulldog mascot at age 11, after working 25 games as an interim mascot from 2009-12, then another 38 games as Uga IX from 2012-14.

No. 2 Lady Bulldogs finish 5th at Stanford
The No. 2-ranked Georgia women's golf team wrapped up its most successful fall in a decade with a fifth-place finish at the Stanford Intercollegiate on Monday. Playing with only four golfers, the Bulldogs shot 8-over 292 and finished the 54-hole event at 870.

Salgado leads UNG men's soccer to shutout win over Shorter
Irving Salgado knocked home a goal in the 78th minute and the Nighthawk defense would preserve the shutout as the University of North Georgia men's soccer team defeated Shorter, 1-0, on Tuesday evening at the UNG Soccer Complex.

Lee holds off West Georgia, UNG 4th at LeeAnn Noble tourney
The Flames of Lee University held off a charge from West Georgia to claim the 2nd Annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial Golf Tournament team title by a single stroke on Tuesday afternoon on the par 72, 5,887 yard Achasta Golf Course. Lee's Caroline Moore earned individual medalist honors with a one-under 72-71-143.
