STATE SEMIFINALS: Buford rolls to 8th straight finals; Commerce falls
Buford advanced to its eighth straight state championship game with a 27-3 win over Cartersville in the Class AAAA semifinals. Commerce, however, lost in its bid for its first trip to the state finals in 14 years in a 28-7 loss to Irwin County in Class A Public.
