By Logan Landers Anchor/Reporter

One person suffered minor injuries after an accident early Friday afternoon in Hall County.

Troopers with Georgia State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle wreck at 11:55 a.m. on Spout Springs Road near Caprice Drive in Flowery Branch.

A 2012 Toyota Corolla driven by 20-year-old Colby Duhamel of Gainesville was traveling south on Spout Springs Road when he failed to maintain his lane and traveled across the raised grass median.

The car then began to rotate counter clock wise across the roadway and overturned several times in the northbound lanes.

Michelle Gumpert, age 50 of Dacula, was driving her 2022 Jeep Cherokee north on Spout Springs in the right hand lane when Duhamel's overturned car struck the front of the Jeep.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and Duhamel was cited for Failure to Maintain Lane and was transported to NEGA Braselton for minor injuries.
