A Buford man was arrested on Friday on a drug trafficking charge.

According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), they and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) executed a search warrant and arrested 59-year-old Marvin Stanley Cottrell.

He was charged with trafficking cocaine and firearm possession by a felon after authorities report finding five ounces of suspected cocaine and a firearm.

Cottrell is currently in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
