A Braselton man faces child molestation charges and will face a Hall County Magistrate Judge in late January.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release in which they say 34-year-old Nathan Daniel Smith is accused of molesting a young girl for several months.
According to their investigation, Smith allegedly sexually molested a female child from December 2015 through July 2016.
Authorities say they believe he knew his victim.
Deputies arrested Smith on January 5, 2018 without incident and booked him into the Hall County jail.
Bond has not been set, but Smith will go before a judge for a committal hearing January 26, 2018.
Hall County detectives continue to investigate the case.
